Math – Eureka Math

Eureka Math helps students understand why math works. Lessons use models, hands-on tools, and problem-solving to build confidence and strong number sense.

Kindergarten–Grade 1

  • Counting, comparing, and adding/subtracting within 20.
  • Understanding shapes and simple measurement.
  • Learning place value (tens and ones).

Grades 2–4

  • Addition and subtraction within 1,000 (gr. 2–3).
  • Multiplication, division, and fractions (gr. 3–4).
  • Real-life math problems using pictures, models, and equations.
  • Geometry: angles, lines, area, and symmetry.

 

How We Assess Learning

We monitor progress through:

  • Classwork and participation
  • Reading level checks
  • Short assessments
  • Teacher observation

Families will receive updates during conferences and through weekly communication.
