Hope Bera is new to the Cresthaven Academy team and is ready to jump-start her teaching journey. She recently graduated from Drew University with a Masters in Teaching with an endorsement in Special Education. She is also an active member of the Teaching Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi. She has wanted to become a teacher since the age of 5, as she would steal the kitchen chairs and set up stuffed animals in her bedroom to listen to her lessons. Hope has a wide range of experiences, ranging from working with kindergarten students, to mentoring high school students, to helping incarcerated students pass their GED. She has a love of learning and cannot wait to instill that love and enthusiasm in the scholars at Cresthaven! When she is not at school you can find Hope shopping at Target, watching documentaries, playing with her puppy or listening to new music.
