Cresthaven Academy Foundation exists to provide support and resources that inspire excellence in character, identity, and academics to the students and families of Cresthaven Academy Charter School. To this end, an internship program was established to assist staff in properly executing our mission, while simultaneously investing in and training up the next generation of leaders.
Through a competitive application and interview process, the Cresthaven Futures Program recruits high school students in the Plainfield area to support Cresthaven Academy, particularly through the after-school program and staff-assigned special projects. Eligible individuals must demonstrate maturity, commitment, and a track record of leadership in their spheres of influence.
As part of this program, students will participate in weekly training sessions from staff members, and be given the opportunity to lead peer-to-peer reflection groups. Skills in decision-making, problem-solving, administration, and education will be developed in each one of our Futures throughout the course of each academic year, uniquely preparing them for college and the workforce. Additionally, required volunteer hours for graduation may be fulfilled through this program (please check with your individual guidance counselor).
